Today, Amur Leopards live in a small range along the Chinese-Russian border. The Leopards used to range across Korea. A cause for this movement of Amur Leopards is deforestation to make more space for houses or for crops to be grown.
Temperatures in this region can top over 90 Fahrenheit during the summer and can drop below negative 30 degrees Celsius during the winter. Amur leopards are usually observed on cameras in higher altitudes along their new and smaller habitat.
